Malmö International Rotary Club members Charlotte Beskow (our current President) and Devica Nystedt recently participated in a tour of the Mahmood Mosque in Malmö.
According to Wikipedia, the 2,000 square metre complex has 5 buildings, including two-bedroom accommodation, a sports hall, offices and a library. The mosque consists of two prayer halls, and in total, can accommodate up to 1,700 worshipers.
The event was oganised by the Malmö Rotary Club. In addition to the tour, Rotarians attended a presentation and then shared a meal with their hosts.
