Stephanie, a member of the Rotary Club of McMurray, Pennsylvania in the United States, was in town to attend the Rotary Action Summit in Malmö September 20- 22, and our club was fortunate to be able to host her at our regular Monday night meeting on September 23.
During her presentation, Stephanie shared some details on her presidential theme for 2024-2025, "The Magic of Rotary", and urged her fellow Rotarians to embrace Rotary's Action Plan for eradicating polio worldwide and working for peace. She also complimented MIRC for living out one of her key messages to Rotary Clubs worldwide: the necessity of balancing continuity with change to "make the club experience irresistible to members" while also staying true to who we are as an organisation.
